At Vaanampaadi FM, we are dedicated to upholding copyright laws and respecting the intellectual property rights of others. This Piracy Policy outlines our stance on piracy and unauthorised use of copyrighted content within our Vaanampaadi FM App.
1. Compliance with Copyright Laws
- We strictly adhere to all applicable copyright laws, including but not limited to the (DMCA) and the Copyright Act of 1976.
- We do not support or condone piracy or the unauthorised distribution of copyrighted material.
- Every program on Vaanampaadi FM has original content that has been created by authorised content developers.
- All of the content was created using our own ideas and research, and only Vaanampaadi FM is able to claim ownership of it.
- No one may duplicate our content, and doing so is illegal. Vaanampaadi FM is free to bring a lawsuit against these kinds of actions.
- Nothing in our entertainment programs has been copied or duplicated from any other source. Its sole purpose is to entertain the audience.
- Not every one of our music-related shows features a complete musical track; rather, through our narration, we encourage the audience to listen to the original track.
- All of our works, both fictional and non-fiction, are the result of our own original ideas.
2. Vaanampaadi FM OTT Platform
- Vaanampaadi FM is classified as an OTT audio platform by the Intellectual Property Act.
- Vaanampaadi FM operates in accordance with the Intellectual Property Act. A Copyright Claiming Officer (CCO) has been designated to handle all copyright-related matters.
- Any concerns or claims related to the program should be directed to our Copyrights Claiming Officer(CCO) along with significant proof.When your proof be validated in accordance with the Intellectual Property Act, CCO will proceed appropriately. Within 10 working days, CCO will address the complaint.
- According to the Intellectual Property Act, if anyone makes a fraudulent claim, legal action will be brought against them within 21 days.
- All audio content in Vaanampaadi FM, including music, broadcasts, and other materials accessible through the App, are either licensed or owned by our Copyright Claiming Officer.
3. Prohibited Activities
Users of the App are strictly prohibited from engaging in the following activities:
- Uploading, sharing, or distributing copyrighted content without proper authorization.
- Using the App to access or stream pirated or illegally distributed audio content.
- Modifying, altering, or circumventing any digital rights management (DRM) protections implemented within the App.
- Promoting, endorsing, or facilitating piracy in any form.
4. Reporting Copyright Infringement
We take copyright infringement seriously and encourage the Copyright Claiming Officer (CCO) to report any instances of infringement found within the App.
If you are a copyright owner and believe that your copyrighted work has been unlawfully used or distributed through the App, please submit a formal DMCA notice to our designated Copyright Claiming Officer . The notice should include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Sufficient information to locate the allegedly, infringing material within the App.
- Contact information of the copyright owner or authorised representative.
- A statement affirming that the use of the copyrighted material has not been authorised by the copyright owner or law.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and that the notifying party is authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly investigate the reported infringement and take appropriate action, including the removal or disabling of access to the infringing material.
The Madras High Court or the Salem district courts jurisdiction is subject to all legal actions and resolutions.
